Linking the Bay Area, initiating a new journey with carbon! | Guangdong Nata actively participates in the joint construction, pooling resources to build a new platform for the carbon fiber industry!
On October 16th, the Guangdong Province Carbon Fiber Composite Materials Industry Innovation Alliance was established, the Guangdong Province High-Performance Fiber and Composite Materials Manufacturing Innovation Center (in the process of establishment) was inaugurated, and the Shenzhen High-Performance Composite Materials Innovation Park was grandly opened. The event was held in Nanshan District, Shenzhen City.

Guangdong Modern High-tech Fiber Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the holding company, - Guangdong Nata Functional Fiber Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the conference as the initiating unit and aunit of the alliance. It gathered with government authorities, academicians and experts, leading enterprises in the industry chain, and universities and research institutions to jointly promote the collaborative innovation and strengthening of the industrial chain and supply chain of high-performance fiber composite materials in the east.
01 Three platforms launched simultaneously, building an industrial innovation matrix
It is known that carbon fiber is called "black gold", and its technical level is an important indicator for measuring high-end manufacturing capabilities. Data shows that the market size of carbon fiber in Guangdong accounts for about one-third of the national total, making it the largest consumer market and an important industrial cluster area for application.

The Guangdong Province High-performance Fiber and Composite Materials Manufacturing Innovation Center (in the process of establishment) is led by Shenzhen Guangda Tongxin Innovative Materials Co., Ltd. It adopts a "company-based operation and market-oriented management" model. Focusing on the "critical technology" of high-performance carbon fibers, it will mainly build a hundred-ton production line for high modulus and high strength carbon fibers, filling the gap in the high-end high-modulus carbon fiber sector in Guangdong Province; it will also establish an authoritative database for high-modulus carbon fibers, improve the full-chain technical system from raw materials to end applications, and promote scientific and technological achievements to move from "laboratories" to "production lines".

The Shenzhen High-Performance Composite Materials Innovation Park, serving as the physical carrier of the Alliance and the Guangdong Province High-Performance Fiber and Composite Materials Manufacturing Innovation Center (in the process of establishment), is dedicated to building the core growth pole of the province's high-performance carbon fiber composite materials industry. The park has initially formed an industrial ecosystem integrating R&D, pilot production, testing, and application through the strategies of "bringing in" and "going out".
On the afternoon of the same day, the Guangdong Carbon Fiber Composite Materials Industry Innovation Alliance also held a technical exchange meeting. The person in charge of the Shenzhen High-Performance Composite Materials Innovation Park introduced the platform capabilities, experts delivered keynote speeches, enterprises released their demands and introduced their products, further promoting technical exchanges and supply-demand matching.
02 Nata Enters the Game, Deeply Cultivates Raw Fibers to Strengthen the Industry Foundation
As the initiator and member of the Alliance, Guangdong Nata has been deeply engaged in the carbon fiber raw material and high-performance fiber sectors, planning to build a project with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of carbon fiber and differentiated acrylic fibers. It focuses on technological research and development on stabilizing, scaling up, and enhancing the quality of carbon fiber raw materials, strengthening the supply capacity of raw materials at the upstream end of the industrial chain.
Relying on this Alliance platform, Guangdong Nata will fully leverage its responsibilities as a member and actively participate in industrial technology discussions, joint project research and development, and the establishment of industry standards. It will collaborate with industry partners to fill the gaps in raw materials and connect the upstream and downstream supply chains, helping Guangdong build an independent and controllable, highly competitive carbon fiber composite materials industrial cluster, providing stable and reliable high-performance fibers for high-end fields such as low-altitude economy, new energy equipment, and advanced rail transportation.
A single carbon fiber filament carries new hopes for high-end manufacturing. In the future, Guangdong Nata will continue to increase its R&D investment, leveraging the advantages of the Bay Area industry, and work together with all Alliance members in the same direction. With the innovation of raw materials at the source, it will empower the high-quality development of the Guangdong new materials industry and jointly seize the new highland of high-performance fiber development.
